I won't let myself regret it.  It is what it is, and nothing was made of it by him-.  Though this ordeal was definitely something I initiated, agreeing with my parasitical tendency to magnetize all things self-destructive, at the core I'm aware that there wouldn't have even been if he hadn't permitted it.
